Odos: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Château d’Odos dominates the central esplanade. It features terracotta decoration by the Toulouse architect Vireband and is the only work by this artist in the département. Among other things, the decoration led to its inclusion in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments in 2006.

Culture

The Château d’Odos is located on the Motte Soubirane. A stone castle has been documented there since the 12th century, particularly for the years 1249 to 1256. The Château d’Odos cannot be visited; however, its façades can be viewed from the north, from the former courtyard of the farm buildings, now a public square, and from the south, from the Petite Rue du Château.

The church of Odos was extensively restored between 1850 and 1860. In 1858, the restored church was opened to worshippers.
