The Church of Saint-Pierre dates back to the 12th century and is the only church known as an “Église-bloc” that has been preserved in its original condition in the northern part of the département. In the 14th century, it was set on fire by the troops of the Black Prince during the Hundred Years’ War; its masonry bears traces of heat discoloration.
