The Maison des Ferrère presents an educational tour focusing on the work of a dynasty of sculptors based in Asté. Panels in the Maison des Ferrère trace the development of the Ferrère artists’ work from the mid-17th century to the beginning of the 19th century. The Maison des Ferrère centre is open seasonally from 1 June to 30 September.

The Capuchin monastery in Médous was established in 1616 by Claire-Suzanne de Gramont. The Grottes de Médous can be visited in a park featuring the walls of a former monastery. For foreign groups, audio-guided tours of the Grottes de Médous are offered in five languages: English, Dutch, Spanish, Italian and German.

The Church of Saint-Saturnin in Asté has an elegant bell tower with twin arcades and a double spire. It was rebuilt in the 18th century after the fire of 1754. The furnishings of the Church of Saint-Saturnin in Asté were created by Jean II Ferrère between 1760 and 1780.

The historic site of Escaladieu – a Cistercian abbey in France – is located in the vicinity of Asté. Château Fort, a castle, lies in the wider regional area around Asté. The Pic d'Aste summit is located in the immediate vicinity of Asté, as is the summit of le Courouaou. The Soum Arra summit and the Pic de Labassère summit are located in the area around Asté.

The Le Casque du Lhéris circular trail via the Fontaine de Crastes offers views of the Massif du Pic du Midi and the Baronnies. The car park for the Le Casque du Lhéris circular trail via the Fontaine de Crastes is located 500 metres before the Fontaine de Crastes on the road east of the village.
