Palaminy can be understood through a building with an unusual integration: the Château de Palaminy forms the north-western corner of the bastide and has incorporated the original fortifications into its walls. Parts of the Château de Palaminy are listed as a historic monument. It was designed in the Spanish Renaissance style and has an arch spanning the RD 10.

The “Clocher et chapelle” ensemble in Palaminy dates from the 17th century; the upper part of the bell tower wall is a rare construction made of stone and bricks. Palaminy was also a station for pilgrims travelling from Saint-Cernin to Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges on their way to Santiago de Compostela.
