Culture and History

The Château de la Cassagnère was built in 1680, has been listed as a historic monument since 1979, and is considered an example of 18th-century brick architecture in the Toulouse region. The parish church of Saint-Laurent, dedicated to the municipality of Cugnaux, was completed in 1827 after the former church was destroyed by fire in 1824.

The Quai des arts is a 200 m² centre for visual arts dedicated to contemporary creativity. Every year, it hosts two exhibitions of contemporary visual art – in spring and autumn – as well as two salons dedicated to artistic practices.
