The present-day Protestant temple in Calmont is the fourth temple built there. It was completed in 1846.

The Sentier des Éoliennes starts in Calmont. The easy walking trail is 3.4 kilometres long and takes around one hour.

The Sentier des Éoliennes offers a 360-degree view of the village of Montgeard and the surrounding hills. Information boards along the route explain renewable energy and agriculture in the Lauragais region.

Walks along the banks of the Hers offer an opportunity to discover Calmont.

Events

Calmont hosts the “De l’Hers sur les anches” festival every year, celebrating the harmonica. A producers’ market is also held every Sunday morning.
