History
The Saint-Georges Chapel was listed as a historic monument by decree of 5 October 1981. It is the surviving part of a château that was looted during the Wars of Religion. The chapel later served the local population as a church after the parish church had been destroyed during the Wars of Religion.
In the centre of the village stands the Church of Laujuzan, dedicated to Saint Andrew. It is located on the site of a possibly Romanesque church.

The municipality of Laujuzan includes the Étang de Mousquey wetland, a type I ZNIEFF (730010646) located approximately in the centre of the municipality.
Products
At Armagnac Samalens, centuries-old stills are presented. A visit to Armagnac Samalens includes a tasting of the distillery's Armagnacs. The company based in Laujuzan has been distilling, blending and ageing spirits since 1882.
