Anyone choosing Réquista as a holiday destination wants to rent a holiday apartment.

History

The Chapel of Notre-Dame de Pitié, also known as Notre-Dame de Landorre, later became the parish church of Réquista. This church was completely rebuilt in 1894; its bell tower was erected in 1927–1928.

Crafts and Museum

Cazelle in Réquista is home to the Aveyron's first dye garden, dedicated to plant dyeing and traditional craft expertise. Guided tours introduce plants that provide natural colours for textiles. Open introductory indigo-dyeing workshops allow visitors to create and take home their own work.

The Musée de Lincou in the municipality of Réquista displays collections on alchemy and pharmacy, glass archaeology, cuisine from the Middle Ages to the present day, and the development of weapons and science. A reservation is required for visits; every museum visit also includes a free tour of the village.

Markets and Events

The weekly sheep market in Réquista takes place on Monday mornings. If Monday is a public holiday, it is held on Tuesday. In July and August, the Marché Ovin offers free guided tours on Monday mornings from 9:30 a.m.; guided tours can also be reserved outside the season.

A market takes place on the morning of the second Thursday of every month.

M. Vaysse Apiculture offers a beekeeping tour with information about hive models, handling bees and their products. When the harvest is available, the tour concludes with honey extraction and a tasting.

Outdoor Activities

In the municipality of Réquista, a hiking trail runs along the Tarn at the Lincou tourist site; there are numerous picnic areas and shaded spots for breaks along the circular route.

The Plaine des sports in Réquista includes a tennis court, a multisport court with an athletics track, a skate park, a boules court, a fitness trail, a table-tennis table, a beach-volleyball court, two picnic areas and play areas for children.
