The Parcours Polissal Trail No. 15 is a moderately difficult circular route covering 15.5 km with 462 metres of elevation gain. It consists of two loops connected by a shared 500-metre-long path. History and Culture

In Gallo-Roman times, Saint-Félix-de-Lunel was a transit point for the transport of iron ore. At the end of the 13th century, Saint-Félix-de-Lunel became the granary of the monks of Conques. At the beginning of the 20th century, the village had a lime kiln that was important for the construction of buildings.

The Saint-Félix priory, formerly called “Mazières”, was subordinate to the Abbey of Conques. In 1284, the Saint-Félix priory was reunited with Conques by the Bishop of Rodez. The produce was stored at Château de Lunel.

Geographical Location

From Rodez, the route leads via the D988 and the D904. It passes through Muret-le-Château and Villecomtal before reaching Saint-Félix-de-Lunel.
