Claudon: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
The easy Sentier des biches no. 5 begins and ends in Claudon. The circular route is 7 km long and takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. It passes caves, worked stones, former glassworks and traces ranging from the Celtic era to the industrial past of the 19th century.

Claudon has ten panels on cultural and local history; they trace the industrial past of the Ourche Valley, as well as the former glassworks and forges.
The Forge de Droiteval was founded in 1796, converted into a tool forge in 1810 and into a steelworks after 1823. It was shut down at the end of the 19th century.
The Abbaye de Droiteval, a historic site, is located near Claudon. It is a highlighted stop on a circular route in the Ourche Valley; visitors can visit the site and read the information panels provided for this purpose.
Nature
The Arboretum de la Hutte covers 3 hectares and contains remarkable trees, most of which were planted when it was established in the 19th century. A 700 m long path leads through the tree species represented there, which are identified with information panels; stone sculptures stand along the path.
The Arboretum de la Hutte was open year-round for unguided visits.
Geographical location
In the Ourche Valley, a scenic road leads through the Darney Forest. Claudon, Droiteval with its 12th-century Cistercian abbey, and Attigny with its old stone bridge are located there.
