The Circuit pédestre de Remsing is a 7.4-kilometre hiking trail that leads from Schlossberg Park via the Chapelle de Remsing to Œting. More than 3 kilometres of the Circuit pédestre de Remsing run along the GR5 long-distance hiking trail.

Rothe Berg is a hill in the immediate vicinity of Œting. Elenz Berg, Seyberg and Folster Höhe are hills in the surrounding area of Œting. The Parc Explor Wendel, a park, is also located in the immediate vicinity of Œting.

Culture
A small chapel already stood at the present site of the Église St Antoine in 1636, where a vicar held Masses. The sandstone tower of the Église St Antoine was completed in 1884 under the direction of the imperial architect Tornow and crowned with a 2.20-metre-high statue of Saint Anthony. The grotto beneath the steps of the Église St Antoine was completely renovated in 2005. The Chapelle Saint Antoine next to the Église St Antoine was renovated in 2001.
Å’ting was destroyed in 1631 during the Thirty Years' War and rebuilt at its present location from 1632 onwards. Around 787, the settlement had become a place called OFTINGAM VILLAM.
