Culture
All areas of the Musée du Président Jacques Chirac are accessible to people with reduced mobility and to pushchairs via a ramp and a lift. Part of the collection is displayed in a depot open to visitors; several hundred objects are presented there like in a study gallery.
The Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens church bears an inscription reading “Anno Domini 1409” and originally served as the chapel of a castle built by the De Gimel family. The church contains two carved wooden panels from the 17th century: one depicting the Wedding at Cana on the north wall and one depicting the Last Supper on the south wall. The two panels have been classified as Monuments historiques since 1970.

The route to Le Puy de Sarran is a moderately difficult circular hike on foot covering approximately 9.6 kilometres. It begins at the Musée du Président Jacques Chirac in the centre of Sarran and takes about three hours. The Puy de Sarran is 819 m high and offers a panorama with a field of view of more than 300°. The route passes through beech and coniferous forests as well as heathland; along the Étang de la Tine, there is a shaded place to rest.
Nature
The Moulin du Cher is home to a significant bat colony and is classified as a ZNIEFF (Zone naturelle d’intérêts écologiques, faunistiques et floristiques). Information boards at the Moulin du Cher explain the special features of this natural heritage site.
