Nature and trails
The Maison de la Chasse et de la Nature has a public educational trail with information boards and three routes. The educational trail is free of charge and open to the public every day throughout the year. The facility also provides hunters and the general public with training and information about hunting and the natural environment.
The Combrignac circular trail passes through a beech forest, descends to the dam and runs along the Doustre. The “Promenons-nous dans les bois” circular trail follows forest tracks and old paths through restored villages and hamlets.
The Étang Prévôt was created in 1300 and is shared between Champagnac-la-Noaille and the municipality of Clergoux.
Culture and history
The Church of Saint-Martin-de-Tours preserves its 12th-century nave and chancel. Its side chapels and western portal date from the 15th or 16th century; the church also contains a stained-glass window depicting the Flight into Egypt.
The former presbytery was rebuilt after a fire in 1775 and 1780. The Chapelle Saint-Léger preserves a small bell gable dating from 1600.
A seigneurie has been documented since the 14th century and successively belonged to the de Mirambel, Cardaillac and Roquemaurel families.
