Nature and Water
The Cerbère-Banyuls marine nature reserve stretches between Banyuls and Cerbère. It is France’s first marine nature reserve. At Plage de Peyrefite in Cerbère, there is a pebble beach where the Sentier sous-marin begins. The 250-metre-long underwater trail has five observation stations showcasing the marine nature reserve’s distinctive ecosystems. The Sentier sous-marin is free of charge and open to everyone.
At Plage de Peyrefite, Vermeille Kayak’s sea kayaking services include rentals, excursions and landscape interpretation.
Anyone looking to rent a holiday apartment in Cerbère is specifically seeking accommodation in the town.
