Nature
Lac du Moulinet is located in the Aubrac Regional Nature Park along the course of the Crueize River. The circular trail around the lake showcases the distinctive flora of the peat bogs and shore areas.
The La Devèze Grande trail begins at Lac du Moulinet and runs partly through beech and fir forests. Traditional homes can be discovered along the route.
Water
Aquaparc du Moulinet is located at Lac du Moulinet in Le Buisson, Lozère, France. In summer, Aquafun du Moulinet offers an inflatable water park as well as paddleboard and pedal boat activities there.
Lac du Moulinet is a first-category fishing lake. Rainbow trout and brown trout, pike, perch, tench, chub and small river cyprinids can be found there.

The first 660 m of the Tour du Lac du Moulinet circular trail is accessible to people with reduced mobility; the rest of the route is reserved exclusively for pedestrians. The circular trail runs over dirt tracks, footbridges and a suspension bridge.
Culture
The present-day Sainte Anne Church was rebuilt in 1858 using materials from the former church. It follows the ground plan of a Latin cross.
The Digue du Moulinet was built in 1959 on the Crueize, a tributary of the Colagne, to divert water via the Triboulin to the Truyère and generate hydroelectric power. The overflow dam is 5 m high and 141 m long.
The forecourt of Sainte Anne Church offers an unobstructed view.
Getting Around
Lac du Moulinet can be reached via exit 37 of the A75; then follow the D809 towards Saint Sauveur de Peyre. In July and August, the lake is served on Wednesdays and Fridays by the tourist LiO route 260 Mende–Marvejols–Nasbinals; bicycles are permitted.
