Cassagnoles: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture

The Château de Cassagnoles features 17th-century decoration considered very rare in this region. The château overlooks the Gardon plain. The dovecote of the Château de Cassagnoles was recently awarded a prize by the “Mission patrimoine” programme hosted by Stéphane Bern. The still-visible tower once protected the priory.

The southern façade of the Église Saint-Martin rests directly against the château’s surrounding wall and its towers. The small chapel on the south side of the Église Saint-Martin is located at the foot of the château’s dovecote. In its attic, the church preserves one of the most remarkable figurative capitals of Romanesque art in the Bas-Languedoc.

Anyone wishing to rent a holiday apartment can consider Cassagnoles as a travel destination.
