The museum of Rustiques, opened in 2001, preserves documents about the church, the Commanderie, the tomb of the commanders, the château and the development of the village over the centuries. From April to September, it can be visited on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon, as well as year-round by prior arrangement with the guide.

The Commanderie was the building adjoining Saint-Martin Church where the Templars and later the Hospitallers, as warrior monks, cared for the sick. Saint-Martin Church dates from the 12th to 13th centuries and initially belonged to a complex held by the Templars and later by the Hospitallers of Saint John of Jerusalem, also known as the Order of Malta. The tomb of the commanders of Saint John of Jerusalem was restored in 1991.

The two-hour historical tour of Rustiques is offered in French, Dutch, English and German. A selection of local products is displayed in the entrance area of the Maison du Parc.
