Nature
The 504.35-hectare Pelouses de Borde Grande et de Laroque-de-Fa natural area includes streams and ponds, dry grasslands and heathlands, as well as wooded slopes with downy oaks and holm oaks. The Sou, one of the Orbieu’s main tributaries, runs through Laroque-de-Fa.

Culture
The ruins of an old aqueduct have been preserved on the edge of the D613 in Laroque-de-Fa. The nave of the Church of Saint-Cyr-Sainte-Juliette appears to date from the late 12th or 13th century, while the choir dates from the late 13th century. The rock is exposed in the choir of the church in Laroque-de-Fa.
On Roc Castelnaut, where a castle once stood and Olivier de Termes sought refuge, stone steps carved into the rock have been preserved. The village mill produced boxwood and heather pipes until the construction of the departmental road cut through the former canal.
