Montlaur: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Culture and History
The church of Montlaur is dedicated to Saint Eulalia of Mérida. It is Gothic and built in the pure pointed-arch style; a large part of the building dates back to the 14th century.
Today, only the “portail de Bissens” gate remains of Montlaur’s medieval fortress.
The Château de Montlaur was built around 1160 on the rocky spur of Pech Matus. Its fortifications included an initial enclosure around the rock, a second wall with three gates, and a barbican.
Anyone wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Montlaur can earmark the village as a destination when planning their trip.
