Greffeil: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Hiking

The Maison-du-sorcier circular trail is 8 km long; a shorter variant is 4 km long. The walking time is approximately 3 hours; the variant takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. The circular trail is marked with a yellow line and a green circle.

The 3-km-long Sentier des Plos follows the Lauquet and crosses the Forêt des Plos. Along the trail, information panels provide details about the fauna and flora.

The Escoubille circular trail initially follows a ridgeline and then leads through the forest and along the Lauquet River. It is 10 km long; a shorter variant is 6 km long. Along the way, it passes the ruins of Escoubille.

Nature

Greffeil is part of the 115.23-hectare ZNIEFF “Rivière du Lauquet et ruisseaux de Guinet et de l’Alberte”.

The Forêt des Plos is located in the municipality of Greffeil, covers around 40 hectares and borders the Lauquet River. Its trees include pines, firs, holm oaks, downy oaks, strawberry trees and Montpellier maples.

Culture

The Church of Saint-Cyr-et-Sainte-Julitte in Greffeil is a listed building dating from the 14th century. The Pont sur le Lauquet is a three-arched bridge dating from the early 18th century.
