Villelongue-d'Aude combines the circular layout of the old village with Romanesque elements in the parish church of Saint Félix.
Culture and History
The church of Villelongue-d'Aude houses a silver pyx made between 1789 and 1798. This pyx was classified as a protected object on 23 April 1979. It also contains a silver ciborium made between 1798 and 1809 by the Parisian goldsmith Nicolas-Richard Masson.
The First World War memorial commemorates the local people who died for France in 1914–1918. It consists of a cast-iron statue of a soldier on a profiled granite plinth with a marble inscription plaque. Another historical testimony is Moulin Villelongue d'Aude, the remains of a 12th-century grain mill. On Napoleonic maps, Moulin Villelongue d'Aude is marked as a mill.
Paths and Architectural Forms
The Boucle de Sainte Barbe includes the pre-Romanesque Chapelle Sainte-Barbe. The chapel has a single-nave layout and a square-ended choir. It was modified in the Romanesque period; these modifications include a semicircular apse at the end of the choir. The Boucle de Sainte Barbe can be combined with the Le Bayle route.
The Sainte-Barbe route passes protected remains of a Gallo-Roman funerary monument. Parking is available near the starting point of the Sainte-Barbe hike.

Local Production
Domaine de Capdepon manages 80 hectares of vineyards in the Limoux AOP for Blanquette, Crémant and wines. It is a family-run business in which the owners have grown and produced wine themselves for five generations.
Domaine de Soustrobe makes most of its cheeses using a traditional method in which they are shaped with a ladle. The farm keeps 80 goats year-round in semi-free-range conditions, using organic farming methods and away from intensive livestock farming.
