Culture
The Croix de métier standing opposite the cemetery was registered as a protected historic monument by decree of 14 April 1948. It may date from the 14th century. On its west side, it depicts an anvil and a hammer; on its east side, a curved sword.
Maryannick Cornou of the Atelier d'art mural is credited with the wall frescoes in the parish church of Fontiès-d'Aude. Restoration work on the parish church could not begin until 2005.
