The Château de Bouisse combines a 13th-century keep with a residential wing dating from the 15th or 16th century. In the 17th century, it was expanded and fortified in the period before the signing of the Peace of the Pyrenees in 1659.

Culture
The Église Saint-Saturnin is a Romanesque building with thick walls and an important part of Bouisse's local cultural heritage. The church in Bouisse houses a silver ciborium made between 1798 and 1809 by Jean-Pierre II Aribaud, a goldsmith from Carcassonne. On 23 April 1979, it was classified as a protected object.
The Chapelle de Saint-Pancrace is situated in a peaceful natural setting. It is a place of worship and a spiritual retreat for residents and visitors.
Nature
Part of Bouisse lies within the Hautes Corbières Natura 2000 site, a special protection area for birds (SPA FR 9112028). Part of Bouisse also lies within the Vallée de l’Orbieu Natura 2000 site. Bouisse has grazing land on the northern slopes of the Milobre and on the Serre to the east.
From the summit of the Milobre de Bouisse at 878 m, there are views of the Massif de Mouthoumet, the Orbieu Valley and the Pic de Berlès, which overlooks the village of Salza.
Hiking
The L’Alpage des Corbières route starts and ends in Bouisse. It is marked as a yellow PR trail, is approximately 4.9 km long, takes around 1 hour and 45 minutes, and has an elevation difference of 140 m. The route follows old paths lined with centuries-old box trees and overlooked by the Milobre de Bouisse. The circular route starts at Lake Bouisse, passes through the village and ends back at the lake.
