The RD 165 is a scenic tourist road that crosses Conilhac-Corbières from south to north. It leads to the Col de la Portanelle and through one of the last foothills of the Corbières. The Boucle de Randonnée de l’Aousina is listed as a hiking trail in Conilhac-Corbières. Gallo-Roman tombs and settlement remains, which can be discovered during walks, are also listed. History and culture
The Église Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption is a Gothic religious building from the 14th century and was listed as a protected historic monument in 1942. The church contains two statues of incense-bearing angels. At the same time, it serves as a cultural venue and hosts the traditional Christmas concert.
The Jazz Conilhac festival includes art exhibitions featuring painting and photography. One gallery is located in the town center of Conilhac-Corbières beside a dry stream bed, 200 meters from the central Place de l’Horloge.
Wine and music
The Château du Vieux Parc has been run by the Panis family for six generations and is considered the last private wine cellar in the town of Conilhac-Corbières. Visitors can tour the wine cellar there and taste the products of the Panis family.
The Cave à Jazz is open once a month from January to September for evenings with food and a concert. It is a venue for musical encounters and for discovering wines from the AOC Corbières.
