The Lavoir was completely rebuilt in 1813 on the foundations of an earlier washhouse. The Ancien château de Grignon dates from the 17th century. The Arboretum de Grignon is not open to the public; however, the Association de l'Arbre de fer regularly organises tours. Thiverval-Grignon also has a gliding airfield.
