Cormeilles-En-Parisis: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture and History
The Lavoir du Chenêt is part of the historic townscape. Its rotunda, built above the reservoir, is open to the public. The lavoir has been restored and filled with water again; as a historic local heritage site, it is located in the town centre of Cormeilles-en-Parisis.
“Le Denier de César” has been protected as a movable cultural object since 25 October 2005. The protected painting is located in the northern transept of Saint-Martin Church, above the door to the crypt.

The Buttes du Parisis also include the Butte de Cormeilles. There are wooded public open spaces with viewpoints, as well as opportunities for walking and relaxation. The part of the Buttes du Parisis located in Cormeilles-en-Parisis is designated as a sensitive natural area in the local development plan.
The Parc Chabrand-Thibault was formerly a private estate of around 9 hectares with romantic remnants, nature and biodiversity, and was opened to the public. The park covers a 10 hectare wooded landscape characterised by clearings. Its distinctive features include an avenue of hundred-year-old oak trees, a 180-step staircase made of old sandstone, and a promenade overlooking the town and the Seine Valley.
Getting Around
Fort de Cormeilles-en-Parisis was built in the 1870s. Visitors can park at the stadium and along the Route Stratégique. The fort can be visited on the first Sunday of every month from 3 p.m., except in January and August.
Another way to combine landscape and physical activity is the “Panoramas de la Seine à la montagne” hiking route. In Val Parisis, it passes over the Buttes du Parisis and offers panoramic views.
