Le Donjon is a group of buildings dominated by a large, round medieval tower ruin or medieval round tower, which once formed the outbuildings of a castle that has since disappeared.
The tower of Le Donjon has been classified as a Monument historique since 1923.

Culture and History
The Russian Necropolis comprises the Orthodox Church of Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption with its ancillary buildings and garden, as well as Orthodox graves in the municipal cemetery.
The Orthodox church of the Russian Necropolis is a white building with a square floor plan, a green roof and a blue onion dome. Its construction was approved in 1937 according to plans by the architect Albert Benois.
The Russian Necropolis contains around 4,000 graves, including the graves of Prince Youssoupov, Ivan Bunin and Rudolf Nureyev.
The Columns of Peace monument was built from fired bricks engraved with the names of local residents and inaugurated on 8 May 1995.
The Sainte-Geneviève Church was built in 1876 after the previous church was badly damaged by a lightning strike in August 1875. Inside are two sculptures of Sainte Geneviève and Sainte Madeleine, which are protected as Monuments historiques.
The grotto in its present form dates from the 18th century. Historically, it was associated with a pilgrimage to Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois held annually on the second Sunday after Easter.
Russian Traces
The Maison russe was founded in 1927 at the Château de la Cossonnerie by Vera Mestchersky for Russian refugees. Today, the Maison russe is a retirement home and cannot be visited.

Nature and Public Spaces
The Parc des bords de l'Orge is a 26-hectare nature park that was opened to the public in 1983.
It offers opportunities for walking, sporting activities and leisure pursuits.

The local architecture also includes La Serre de l'Orangerie. The building was constructed in 1979, was inspired by Canadian models and is considered unique in France.
