History

The Parc de Villeroy is the former garden of a château built by Nicolas III de Neufville in the 16th century, which was demolished between 1796 and 1819. Four terraces of the original grounds are presumed to have survived; a large canal served both to drain the area and as a landscaping feature.

The former Porte de Paris in Mennecy is a 17th-century town gate. It has been listed as a historic monument by decree dated 10 February 1948.
