Culture and History

In the Parc des Mousseaux on the Île de loisirs du Port aux Cerises stands the Neolithic menhir La Pierre à Mousseaux, dating from between 4000 and 2000 BC. The Maison Alphonse Daudet also serves to preserve a place of remembrance and culture.

The Château de Villiers was restored in 1991 and converted into a cultural centre. One wing of the château houses a library-media centre; that same year, the salons of the Château de Villiers were converted into spaces for temporary exhibitions. The Théâtre Donald Cardwell offers a programme for all generations and a range of artistic styles.
