The Source de l’Ain is a Vaucluse-type spring and a geological feature. The Ain rises at an altitude of 681 metres between the villages of Conte and La Favière.

Hiking

The “Sentier Interprétation - source de l'Ain - La promenade” trail is an easy, 2.9-kilometre, signposted out-and-back route with 36 metres of elevation gain. It starts and ends at the Source de l'Ain car park in Conte and follows an out-and-back route marked in orange with GRP markings.

The “Sentier Interprétation - source de l'Ain - La boucle des passerelles” route includes two footbridges, one of them a suspension bridge over the Ain.

The “Source de l'Ain” route is a moderately difficult 10.4-kilometre circular hike with 298 metres of elevation gain and thematic highlights including forests, lakes, rivers and waterfalls. It starts and ends at the Source de l'Ain car park in Conte and is signposted with GRP and PR markings.

The Centre Équestre de la Cavalerie de la Source in Conte offers riding lessons for all levels and ages, horse boarding, and rides to explore the surrounding region.

Nature

The Cascade du Moulin du Saut can be reached via a small path and offers a spot for a picnic or a break by the water. The existing Saut des Maillys viewpoint has been renovated and enlarged.

The Cascade du Moulinet is 20 metres high. A marked path leads down from the Le Moulinet signpost to the Cascade du Moulinet.
