Château Stoppielle dates from the second half of the 19th century and is one of the eleven so-called Maisons d’Américains in Centuri. By decree of 25 March 2011, the building was partially classified as a historic monument. The painted ceiling and wall decorations were created by the painter Paul-Baptiste Profizzi; an allegory of America is depicted in the centre of the ceiling of the large salon.

Culture
The Saint-Sylvestre parish complex comprises a parish church, a chapel of the Brotherhood of the pénitents de la Sainte-Croix and a bell tower. The parish church in the complex was rebuilt in 1821. The Chapelle Sainte-Anne de Bovalo was classified in its entirety as a historic monument by decree of 30 June 2020.
Nature
Îlot de Capense off Centuri belongs to the Réserve naturelle des îles du Cap Corse nature reserve. The coastal area of Centuri also includes Îlot de Capense as an ornithological reserve.
The typical maquis of Centuri comprises holm oaks, strawberry trees, mastic shrubs, thorny shrubs, heather, rockroses and caper bushes. Anchoring watercraft less than ten metres from the Capense shoreline is prohibited.
On Foot
The Sentier des Douaniers is a 19 km-long coastal hiking trail between Macinaggio and Centuri that passes through protected natural areas. Within Centuri, the narrow streets can be explored on foot; a network of paths leads on foot to the hamlets of Centuri.
Local Character
From the terraces of cafés and restaurants overlooking Centuri harbour, boats can be watched as they enter the harbour. The fishing harbour of Centuri is known for its spiny lobsters.
