Rosnay: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Culture
The Église Notre-Dame de Rosnay has been classified as a French historic monument since 20 December 1920. It was built in the 12th century and combines Romanesque and pre-Gothic architecture associated with the Tardenois.
Its Romanesque nave dates from the 12th century; the choir and transept are Gothic and date from the 13th century.
Le Lavoir de Rosnay is a spring washhouse next to a spring that long served as a public water supply. The water there is continuously renewed. In 1985, the washhouse was completely restored by a Compagnon du Devoir du Tour de France. Among other things, the timber structure, slate roof and fountain made of Champigny bricks were renewed.
Today, Le Lavoir de Rosnay serves as a place to rest or visit; the water there is not drinkable.
