Gueux: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Circuit automobile de Gueux has been partially protected as a historic monument since 7 May 2009. The protected ensemble includes the covered Benoist, Wimille and Sommer grandstands, the press grandstand with its boxes along the racetrack, the uncovered grandstands with concrete benches, the Lambert timekeeping pavilion, the pits with the central pavilion, an underpass, a metal scoreboard and the supporting structure of a fuel distribution tank.

Culture

On the first Sunday of every month, except during the summer, the Association des Passionnés du Circuit organises a morning event entitled “Cars and Coffee”, where visitors can share their common passion. The Association Escales à Gueux hosts exhibitions, art workshops and concerts in the church.

Throughout the year, Gueux offers numerous cultural events, including conferences, performances by local artists, meetings with authors and exhibitions. The Médiathèque du village is open to residents of Gueux as well as to other visitors.

Nature

The Association des Pêcheurs du Lac de Gueux regularly organises fishing competitions on the shore of Lac de Gueux. On Lac de Gueux, members of the Club de Modèles Réduits de Gueux demonstrate various prototypes.

Local Life

On the first Saturday of every month, except in August, the Marché Paysan brings local producers, craftspeople and other partners together at Ferme Prévost opposite Place des Fêtes. The Marché des Saveurs is organised in May by the Association Escales à Gueux.

The Marché de Noël takes place at the end of November or beginning of December; the Association Escales invites numerous craftspeople to participate.

Bus route E6 provides access from Gueux to the centre of Reims.
