Culture

At the western edge of Écollemont stands the Église Saint-Sauveur, surrounded by the municipal cemetery. It has a simple nave with a wooden ceiling. The choir is older than the nave and comprises two bays with ribbed vaults. An entrance for people with reduced mobility was created in a former doorway.

The fountain is accessible from the square in Écollemont. Next to it is a washhouse without a roof. A recently restored Napoleonic cadastral map from 1830 can be viewed in Écollemont Town Hall. The town hall also features a striking façade with wood cladding.

Nature

Écollemont is one of the municipalities included in the ZNIEFF “Vallée de la Blaise entre Eclaron et Ecollemont”. This type 1 ZNIEFF covers 945.45 hectares.
