Saint-Genouph lies between the Loire and the Cher in an alluvial zone mainly devoted to vegetable growing and horticulture. Culture and history
The church of Saint-Genouph was first built during the Romanesque period and rebuilt in 1899 by the architect Guérin on the foundations of the older church. Its exterior apse features grimacing heads known as modillions. One of the church windows depicts the “Woman with Five Knees”.
