On the outside of the church in Vergigny, above the northern choir windows, a carved roof-beam support with decorative elements has been preserved, including a pig’s head.

The church in Rebourseaux, dedicated to Saint James the Elder, was built in the 12th century and restored during the Renaissance. It features colourful wooden vaults shaped like an inverted boat hull and decorated with carved flowers.

More than 194 bird species have been recorded in the Bas-Rebourseaux bird sanctuary over the past ten years.

Saint-Florentin-Vergigny railway station makes it possible to travel from Paris or Dijon in 1 hour 30 minutes.
