At the Moulin des Prés in Torpes, the original structure may date from the late 18th or early 19th century. Since 1950, it has housed an animal-feed factory. The course of the Brenne has also changed at this location: formerly, the river ran entirely beneath the Moulin des Prés. Today, it only partially flows over a diversion there, while the rest of its course passes beneath the bridge.
