Louhans has a medieval main street with 157 arcades, one of the longest arcaded streets in France. The arcaded street features various styles of arcaded houses, half-timbered walls and courtyards. The heritage trail in Louhans is an easy, 1.5 km walking route that takes around 45 minutes.

The Musée d’Histoire et de Culture des Sourds is the first public museum in France to be dedicated entirely to the history and culture of deaf people.
