The Sentier du Héron Cendré begins near the hamlet of Vaux and runs along the shore of the pond. The path is 750 m long; the round trip takes approximately 45 minutes.

The Sentier du Martin-pêcheur is 1.5 km long and takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes for the round trip. It begins at the large dividing dam between the ponds and leads between ponds and forests, explaining the features of this natural area.

The Sentier de la Libellule begins at the Vaux dam and leads visitors to explore the ponds' food chain. It is equipped with fishing spots.

Paths

At the starting point of the Sentier du Héron Cendré, there is a car park at Étang de Vaux on the RD135 towards Vitry-Laché. The Sentier du Martin-pêcheur begins at the car park at the foot of the dam; there, follow the directions on the large information board and then the dam.

Geographical location

Étang de la Perchette, like the Étangs de Baye and de Vaux, is classified as a sensitive natural area. It covers 16 ha and is located north of Étang de Vaux.

Only shore fishing is permitted at Étang de la Perchette. On its peninsula, there is a car park equipped for people with reduced mobility, as well as two fishing jetties for people with disabilities.
