Swimming is permitted at the Plan d'eau du Marnant; swimming is supervised in July and August.

Nature and water
The ZNIEFF area “Les Fontaines Vaillant et les Bruyères Denis” includes La Nocle-Maulaix. The Plan d'eau du Marnant offers a rural setting with green meadows and tree-shaded banks. At the Marnant site, the small playground has a slide.
Cycle paths
The Boucle de l'étang de La Nocle-Maulaix tourist cycling loop starts at the campsite and the Plan d'eau du Marnant in La Nocle-Maulaix. On the way back to La Nocle-Maulaix, the Boucle cyclo des Etangs follows a small road through the forests of Fours.
Village and history
The Église Saint-Cyr is a parish church on the village square of La Nocle-Maulaix. The Neo-Romanesque building dates from the second half of the 19th century and has a Latin cross floor plan.
The village preserves the remains of the former Moulin à huile de la Nocle Maulaix. These are located on the village road in front of the Église Saint-Cyr; the former Moulin à huile de la Nocle Maulaix dates from 1776.
Domaine de Montprisy
Domaine de Montprisy is home to a family-run farm where small and large animals live. A nature-oriented, educational and participatory activity is offered there. Outside the specified dates, visits to Domaine de Montprisy are possible year-round by appointment.
