History
The Tour Vauban in Epiry is a fortified keep associated with the memory of Vauban. It was built at the beginning of the 15th century by Pierre de Basso and was listed as a historic monument by a decree dated 23 February 2010.

The Église Saint-Denis is located on the site of a former fortified keep dating from the 15th and 16th centuries. In March 1660, the wedding of Jeanne d’Osnay, daughter of Baron Claude d’Epiry, and Sébastien Le Prestre de Vauban was celebrated there.
The present-day Église Saint-Denis is believed to have been built around 1600. The church also contains a stone statue of Saint Denis, created in 1611.
Sacred Heritage
The Chapelle Saint-Élymond is a twelve-by-six-metre building at the lieu-dit « Chandelier ». Its grounds are bordered by the Yonne.
The chapel dates from the late 15th or early 16th century; this dating is supported by the altar mensa and remnants of wall paintings.
Above the altar of the second sanctuary of the Chapelle Saint-Élymond, a mural depicts a Pietà and a donor bishop. Historically, pilgrims travelled to this chapel to seek relief from respiratory illnesses.
