Fléty: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Fléty was one of the 62 municipalities on the 2026 itinerary of the “Tournée d’alimentation générale culturelle”. Anyone wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Fléty can consider the town as a possible travel destination.

Culture and History

The remains of the Château de la Goutte can still be seen northwest of the Fléty manor house. The Château de Chanaux in Fléty dates from the early 20th century and has a Renaissance-style appearance. The Château de Vaux in Fléty dates from the 18th century and more closely resembles a manor house. The Moulin neuf in Fléty dates from the mid-18th century and was converted into a grain mill, which remained in operation until the end of the 20th century.

The bell tower of the Church of Saint-Léger in Fléty is listed in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments. The apse and bell tower date from the 12th century, while the masonry of the nave appears to date from the 16th century. The Church of Saint-Léger in Fléty can be visited freely at any time.

Cycling

The “Circuit vélo du pays luzycois” cycling loop passes through Savigny-Poil-Fol and Fléty on its return route. It reaches the church in Fléty and then turns onto the D287 towards Fours, Luzy and Avrée.

Agriculture

Direct sales from the farm are available at La Ferme de Chauvetière. The farm offers free-range eggs and poultry, Limousin beef, pink veal and lamb. Les Jardins de Falune cultivate a wide variety of vegetables, along with strawberries, melons and watermelons, and have been organically certified since 2022.
