Culture

The Maison Régionale des Arts de la Table is housed in the former 17th-century Hospices Saint-Pierre. It is considered the first museum devoted entirely to everyday food and festive dining. Since 1981, it has presented exhibitions lasting seven months on food, gastronomy, culinary delights and table culture.

The Tour de la Motte-Forte is a round, crenellated medieval structure and the last remaining part of the Motte-Forte castle. It is currently not open to the public.

The Château des Princes de Condé was built in the 17th century and sold to the Prince of Condé in 1634. From 1865 to 1954, it housed the Proutat file factory.

Maison Bourgogne is a 15th-century building with an richly decorated Renaissance façade, a corner turret and a stair tower. Since March 2012, it has housed the tourist office of the Pays Arnay-Liernais.

Events

The Arnay-le-Duc market takes place on Thursday mornings. It includes, among other things, stalls selling fruit and vegetables, charcuterie, grilled and roasted foods, baked goods and horticultural products, as well as a honey producer.

Les Nocturnes Estivales take place every Thursday evening in July and August in the town centre of Arnay-le-Duc. They offer stalls selling arts and crafts and regional products, children's activities, outdoor refreshments and music.

Nature

At the Étang Fouché leisure centre near the town centre of Arnay-le-Duc, supervised swimming is available in July and August. The Balade de l'étang de Fouché walk is 2.6 kilometres long.
