Enval: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
The “Trésors cachés d’Enval” walking tour follows a route of approximately 2.5 km through the village streets and leads to 13 characteristic places marked by descriptive plaques.
From the village centre via the Gorges, Lauriat and La Sauzède, the tour is marked with bronze ground markers. Another discovery tour through the old village includes gorges, crosses, fountains and cellars, among other features.

Walking routes
The Promenade de la Coulée verte along the Ambène stream connects Enval with Riom over more than 10 km, passing through Mozac. At the Gorges d’Enval, facilities allow visitors to cross the mountain stream and access the “Bout du Monde” waterfall.
The shady Sentier de l’APAGE is 5 km long, overlooks the waterfall and then runs along the Ambène. The “Les gorges d’Enval – Les balades de Léa et Tino” route climbs uphill through oak and chestnut trees to a viewpoint overlooking Enval, Riom and the Limagne plain.
Nature
The Gorges d’Enval are classified as a ZNIEFF; this is a natural area of ecological, faunal and floristic interest. The iron-rich Marie spring was discovered in the 18th century and subsequently used for its therapeutic properties.
Culture
The Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste is a Neo-Gothic building with 19th-century stained-glass windows. Guided tours of the church are offered in Enval year-round by prior arrangement.
In Enval, visitors can discover the winegrowers’ houses in Rue des Gorges and Rue de l’Ambène.
