In Deneuille-les-Mines stands Saint Martial/Saint Martin, a 12th-century Romanesque church made of red sandstone and limestone.
The interior of Saint-Martial Church is – with the exception of the two side chapels – entirely decorated with trompe-l'œil paintings. The Italian painter Zannini created them in 1849. The church of Deneuille-les-Mines has been listed in the inventory of historic monuments since 8 December 1960.
