The Gorges de la Bouble extend across the municipalities of Chantelle and Deneuille-les-Chantelle. The Gorges de la Bouble contain running waters, damp seepage areas, riparian woodland, hillside forests, scree slopes and shrub formations. They extend for 4 km before merging into the alluvial plain of the Sioule.

Trails
The Promenade Anne de Beaujeu is a 4 km walking trail marked in yellow, with a stated duration of 90 minutes. It begins at the car park in front of Chantelle Abbey; another starting point is the town hall of Deneuille-les-Chantelle.
The “Les passerelles” trail in the Gorges de la Bouble area is 5.5 km long and has an elevation gain of 160 metres.
Culture
Guided tours of Saint-Vincent Abbey showcase the Romanesque architecture of the church and its chancel. Saint-Vincent Abbey cannot be visited in its entirety; during opening hours, only the courtyard, the church and the sisters’ shop are accessible.
In the historic Cul de Sac district, artisans, antique dealers, antiques sellers, shopkeepers and gallery owners welcome visitors to their establishments.
The Maison du Tourisme features a large model of the 15th-century Château de Chantelle.
Discoveries
The restored Moulin des Pierres can be visited during a walk through the Gorges de la Bouble. The “Pépit de Chantelle” treasure hunt also leads through the Gorges de la Bouble; participants solve Bianca’s riddles to win the treasure.
