Nature
Bellerive-sur-Allier has more than 856 hectares of natural areas. The Forêt de Montpensier is located nearby, along Bellerive’s municipal boundary. It extends towards Serbannes, Brugheas and Aigueperse and offers hiking trails, including the PR43, for walks on foot or by bicycle.
Culture
The Château du Bost was probably built under Charles VII; the Bost estate, also known as Box, has been documented since the early 15th century, as has the château. The freely accessible grounds of the Château du Bost include an orchard, notable trees, a walking trail, a pond and a small square. Throughout the year, the château hosts “Légendes d’automne”, concerts by the music school and a nature festival.
Numerous events and markets take place throughout the year in the park of the intermittent spring. The Vichy-Bellerive racecourse has hosted horse-racing events since 1875. During the season from May to October, around 40 trotting and flat races take place there.

The Golf du Sporting-Club has an 18-hole course that non-members can also reserve. The associated golf school offers activities for children and seniors, as well as individual and group lessons.
