Linxe's weekly market takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays in the market halls at Place des Muletiers. Château Belle Époque is an 18th-century estate set in a four-hectare park; it cannot be visited. During the Maiade, a maypole decorated with garlands and flowers is erected in honour of a neighbour, friend, elected official or district.
Gardens and Green Spaces
Jardin Marguerite combines landscaped plantings, a vegetable garden with heritage varieties, a pond and a citrus avenue. From April to October, the garden is open exclusively by prior appointment.
The Circuit du Moulin de Binaou is a green circular trail through meadows, gardens, streams, ponds, deciduous woodland and pine forest. It leads to the Airial de Binaou, with old barns and houses characteristic of the Landes airials.
Parc municipal Dufau covers two hectares and combines oak and pine trees with wooden sculptures along the paths. The park includes playgrounds, picnic tables, a pétanque court, fitness equipment and lawns.
Paths and Exercise
Linxe has a renovated fitness trail for leisure and exercise. The Lo Camin de Hè cycle route runs through Linxe and connects Taller with Saint-Girons beach via Castets in the Landes département. The cycle path from Linxe leads to Lette Blanche beach and towards Castets and Taller; there is a bicycle station in Linxe.
