Culture
Bascons is associated with the Church of Saint-Amand, which is classified as a historic monument and dates back to the 13th century. Of its former fortifications, a watchtower, a small guard turret used to defend the gate, as well as loopholes and machicolations on the southern wall have been preserved. On the partition wall between the nave and the southern side aisle are three large polychrome wooden statues depicting faith, hope and charity.
The Chapelle Notre-Dame de la Course Landaise is located in the Bostens district of Bascons, about 4 km from the town centre. A pilgrimage of the Coursayres takes place at the chapel every year on Ascension Day. The Musée de la course landaise is dedicated entirely to preserving documents and objects relating to the Gascon bullfighting tradition of Course Landaise; it is currently closed until further notice.
The Arènes Jean-de-Lahourtique in Bascons were inaugurated on 15 August 1936. The Chapelle Saint-Amand was built in 1946 next to the spring of the same name, which is considered miraculous.

The Observatoire de l'avifaune in Bascons comprises three observation points around the retention lake of the stream “des Longs”, where wildlife can be observed. The grounds of the Observatoire de l'avifaune are characterised by the exceptional richness of their flora.

The “Circuit de randonnée pour découvrir Bascons” hiking trail is approximately 13.8 km long.
