Gauriaguet is home to the Church of Saint-Symphorien, a building dating from the 12th, 13th and 18th centuries. The chancel, apse, presbytery, baptismal font and stained-glass windows of the church are particularly noteworthy. The statue of the Virgin Mary with Child has a special feature of its own: Jesus looks towards his mother rather than towards the congregation.
The furnishings also include the Vierge de Meslier, a polychrome wooden statue dating from the 16th and 18th centuries. The site of the Vierge de Meslier can be visited freely. According to legend, the Vierge de Meslier was discovered by an ox in the 17th century. After it had been placed in the church twice, it is said to have returned to the place where it was found each time.
In the wider region around Gauriaguet are the historic site of Abbaye de Bonlieu de Carbon-Blanc, the Cité du Vin museum, the Musée des beaux-arts museum and the Musee d'Aquitane museum.
